Auditorium Theatre

Frank Talmage opened the new Auditorium on July 4, 1913 - a two day celebration - with dancing. Its “formal opening” was as the Auditorium Theater on October 7, 1913 with a stage play, “Officer 666.” Gardner and Lee of the G&L Theatre took on the programming in 1914 switching it to vaudeville and movies. By the end of World War I it was primarily used for events prior to burning down in 1921.
