The New Theatre was opened prior to 1926 when it had 300 seats. By 1929 it had been re-named Clarco Theatre. By 1941 it had been taken over by the Pitts' Theaters Inc. chain and operated as Pitts' Clarco Theatre with 350 seats. They were still the operators in 1950. It was operating as the Clarco Theatre in 1957.
