The Royal Theatre was opened prior to 1937 (possibly in 1936). It was listed as closed and with no seating count in the Film Daily Yearbook’s of 1939, 1940 and 1941.
The Moon Theatre in Stratton was also listed as closed in 1940, but had re-opened by 1941. It seems like the Royal Theatre was a short lived venture.
