The La Plaza Theatre is listed in the Film Daily Yearbook’s of 1938, 1939 & 1940 as seating 125. In 1941 it is listed as the San Luis Theatre still with 125 seats. By 1943 it is listed with 300 seats. It was destroyed by fire in February 1947.
