The Gem Theatre was opened prior to 1946. It was listed as seating 236 in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1950. It was still open in 1957.

This might be the same theatre building seen on an episode of “American Pickers”(Cowzilla in Colarado), that was also a service station, dance hall, and beer garden?
