Gate Arts Theatre

In Goole, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, The Gate Arts Theatre was established in the mid-1990’s in an existing building. Films were just one of the entertainments on offer.

In 2009, The Gate was relocated to a new arts centre, Junction (see separate Cinema Treasures entry). In 2012 approval was granted by The Theatres Trust for the then-closed theatre to be converted into a charitable retail furniture store.
