Listed under the town name Artesia which was what Dinosaur was originally named. Artesia was changed to Dinosaur in 1966 in hopes of capitalizing on the newly established Dinosaur National Montment near town.
The Kiva Theatre was listed in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1950 with 300 seats. It was still open in 1957.
