The Movie Tavern Flourtown opened September 19, 2015 in the Flourtown Shopping Center in Montgomery County, 15 miles north of Philadelphia, with more than 1,000 seats, 8 auditoriums ranging from 86 seats to 140 seats, and a 70 seat bar. The auditoriums have waiter service, and are stadium seated, reserved seats, and with luxury recliner chairs. The theater cost $9 million to construct, and is the 21st location for Movie Tavern, in a total of 9 states, and the 2nd location in the Philadelphia burbs, the 1st being at Collegeville. On February 1, 2019 it was taken over by Marcua Theatres and renamed Movie Tavern by Marcus Flourtown
It is 4 miles from the historic Ambler Theatre.

Movie Town Flourtown was built on the site of a former GIANT (Genuardi’s/Food Fair) Supermarket.
This theatre was included in Marcus Theatres purchase of Movie Tavern and as such as of February 1, 2019 is now operated by Marcus Theatres. This theatre is now “Movie Tavern by Marcus Flourtown” and all relevant information is now on the Marcus Theatres website, www.marcustheatres.com.
