In the Lancashire town of Leigh, the Bedford Picturedrome opened on 2nd January 1914 with 650 seats.
From 1939 until at least 1953 the Bedford Cinema was owned by W. T. Kelly, of Leigh.
The Bedford Cinema closed on 29th March 1959.
By the time I visited, in July 2005, the building was occupied by County Motors, which continues.
