Re-named the “Gemini 9” Theater on Friday May 20, 1966, apparently in coordination with the originally planned launch of the Gemini IX-A spacecraft on Tuesday, May 17 manned by astronauts Thomas Stafford and Eugene Cernan (the launch however had been delayed until June 3rd). Other than merely stating “Formerly Booker T”, the commemorative triple-feature included Christopher Lee in RASPUTIN–THE MAD MONK, A RAGE TO LIVE with Suzanne Pleshette (listed as a comedy), and Noel Willman & Jennifer Daniel in THE REPTILE (advertised as “REPTILES”).
