Located in Norton near Malton, North Yorkshire. The Majestic Picture Theatre was opened in 1922. It had a 10ft deep stage and two dressing rooms. Into the 1930’s it presented cine-variety and it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. Around 1940 it was taken over by the Nottingham based Eskay circuit.
The Majestic Picture Theatre was never equipped with CinemaScope and closed in 1955.
