This probably most likely closed by 1958. The aerial from that year shows the traces being mostly wiped. And is it just me or is the screen tipping?

Comparing this address with historicaerials.com this is the exact location. Not sure how long this Drive-In was in operation it appears on the 1954 aerial but no other.

The property sits at 1821 U.S. 17, Merry Hill, NC and appears in a 1954 aerial photo. However, it was long gone by the 1980s.
