The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is an exhibition centre located to the east of Birmingham, in the West Midlands. It is situated near the M6 and M42 motorways, and is adjacent to Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International railway station. It has 20 interconnected halls, set in grounds of 611 acres, making it the largest exhibition centre in the UK. It is the busiest and seventh-largest exhibition centre in Europe. The centre was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in February 1976.
The largest hall is the 16,000 capacity Genting Arena, which opened in 1980 as the NEC Arena.
Resorts World Birmingham is an entertainment complex within the NEC. Construction began in February 2013 and finished in autumn 2015. The complex is seven stories high and spans 538,000 square feet. Its design is based on the shape of a cruise ship.
Resorts World boasts the largest casino in the United Kingdom (owned by Genting, the company that developed the complex), a shopping mall, restaurants, a four star hotel and a Cineworld multiplex that opened on 23rd October 2015.
Situated on the first floor, the cinema has 11 auditoriums, including an IMAX 3D screen.

Didn’t realise this cinema was one of the first purpose-built IMAX screens for a while back in 2015.

Birmingham seems to be well catered for cinema wise and with the recent major renovation of Odeon, Broadway Plaza into Odeon Luxe and the UK’s largest flagship multiplex it could well be the place to visit outside of the Capital.
Does anyone happen to know the measurements of the IMAX screen at this cinema?
