The Jericho Drive-In opened on 26th July 1969 with Julie Andrews in “The Sound of Music”. It has a capacity for 34 cars and seats for 32 walk-in patrons. The Jericho Drive-In still operates once a month on a Saturday. The Jericho Drive-in is the smallest drive-in in Australia and possibly the world!?

The Jericho Drive-in also has a sitting area for walk in patrons.
The ABC (A for Australian) covered the Jericho’s digital conversion in October 2013. That story claimed the capacity is 36 cars. Maybe somebody added a speaker pole? :)
Doesn’t appear to have a snack bar or toilets.
Doesn’t appear to have a ticket box(booth) either?
The ticket box is at a side entrance on Faraday St, it can be seen on Google street view. Also I’m assuming the toilets/snack bar are in the town hall which appears to share the property. What a cool looking little drive-in!
This drive-in has it’s own Facebook page.
The local council built this drive-in. It is operated on the third Saturday of each month by the Jericho State School P&C(Parents and Citizens) group. Amazing looking drive-in theatre(should be heritage listed)!!
