The New Theatre was opened on March 16, 1936 with Irene Dunn in “Magnificent Obsession”. It was renamed Isis Theatre in April 1936. It was listed in the 1941 & 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed), operated by the Atlas Theater Corp. chain. It had reopened by 1950.

The New Theatre opened its doors on March 15, 1936 with Irene Dunne in “Magnificent Obsession” along with a few unnamed shorts and a newsreel. It was renamed the Isis Theatre the following month. Both the Salida and the Isis Theatres are located on F Street.
