Located on the northwest corner of Wanneroo Road and Hastings Street. The Centenary Hall was opened in 1929 to mark the centenary of Western Australia. The first films were shown in 1930. the Centenary Gardens were opened in 1958. The Centenary Hall and Gardens were closed in 1966, and demolished in 1969 to make way for the extension of the garage next door(taken over by Caltex, name before that unknown?) The Caltex garage was demolished(date unknown?). The site is now Hungry Jacks and some shops. The site is on a cultural and civic trail(there may be a plaque or sign there?).
