Located in the east of the city centre. The building was built between 1928-1929. Designed by architect Eduardo Lozano Lardet with the dual role of movie house and apartments. Inaugurated in August 12, 1929, it had seating provided in orchestra and two balcony levels. There was a cafe located at first balcony level. On the top of the building at level 6 was an open air cinema. The Cine San Carlos operated as a cinema until the mid-1960’s.
In the late part of the XX Century the building was converted into a night club called “Titanic”, and at the beginning of the XXI Century changed its name becoming Discoteca Kapital.
