Town & Country Cinema today

The Town and Country Cinema was opened as a twin by Music Makers in 1970. I saw many movies at this theatre from the late-1970’s to the mid-1980’s. I remember the movies were $1.00. They ran the film “Airplane” for about 7 or 8 months. The two screens were later sub-divided and it was renamed Cinema Center 4. Later operated by Loews and was closed in 1994.

Starts appearing in the Asbury Park Press around 1970 as a Music Makers Theater. Was eventually sold to Loews and closed in 1994.

Both auditoriums were later split into two and it became the Cinema Center 4, and was lastly known as Loews Cinema Center 4.
