In 1910 both gentlemen Jelsema and Van Duynen changed the pews for seats. Now the old church had become a cinema named Friso Cinema. It was renovated in 1929, then several times again and in 1994 it was completely rebuilt.
The present new Dolby Digital Sound vsystem is an improved version of the Dolby Surround system. The cinema has comfortable seats and a very modern look.
