The Bayswater Hall opened on 24th September 1914, and movies starting screening not long after. Movies stopped screening there not long after the talkies started. Movies started screening there again in 1936. A picture gardens was added next door to the hall and opened in 1953. The Bayswater Hall and Gardens stopped showing films in 1967. The hall is still there behind a new front section and is now a church(Metro Christian Community), and the gardens site is now the car park next to the Hall.
