Located on Main Road near the intersection of Lake Road. The Jewel Theatre was opened on 31st January 1958 with Deborah Kerr in “The King and I”.
It was closed on 21st August 1971. The foyer was converted into retail use, and in 1990 the auditorium became a Karate studio. In 2016 a motor cycle and accessories store operates from the building.
