Located in the inner city north Melbourne district of Fitzroy North. The Palace Theatre was opened in 1920. By 1946 it was operated by the Griffiths & West Property Ltd. chain. They were still the operators when it closed in 1959.
It has since been demolished and a car wash now operates on the site.
