Pix Theatre

L.J. Piwetz, owner of the Baker Theatre, opened the Pix Theatre April 10, 1941. Initially it operated on a Saturday Sunday schedule, showing B westerns for 10 and 20 cents.

On November 22, 1945, the Post-Register announced that the Pix Theatre would begin a seven-day schedule showing A pictures that had previously played at the Baker Theatre.

The Pix Theatre was listed in Film Daily Year Book 1951 with 261 seats. It dropped out of the local theatre listings in 1951, around the time the Mr. Piwetz was planning the Sky-Vue Drive-In.
