The 53 Auto-Vue was opened June 15, 1951 with Joel McCrae & Shelly Winters in “Frenchie”. It was closed August 26, 1984 with Dudley Moore in “Best Defense” and Eddie Murphy in “Trading Places.
It was demolished and the Cine 3 Theatre (later Lake 7 Cinemas) was opened on the site on December 21, 1984.

A more accurate address for this theater is 3151 S Main St, Rice Lake, WI 54868. This points directly to the entrance road (the south parking lot for Lake 7 Theaters. Nothing left except the outline.
