Boddington Town Hall and Gardens

Located on Johnstone Street at the southwest corner of Wuraming Avenue. Boddington Town Hall opened in 1923. An outdoor Picture Gardens opened next door to the Town Hall in 1939(?). Movies were screened in the Town Hall possibly from the opening of the Town Hall and in the gardens from it’s opening until the Town Hall and Gardens was closed and demolished in the(early or mid-1950’s?). A new Town Hall was opened on 10th March 1956. Movies were screened there too! A new Picture Gardens was built two streets away(street/s name/s unknown?). The Gardens site is now vacant. The Town Hall was stil showing movies in the 1990’s. Unknown if the Town Hall is still screening movies?
