The shopping centre on the site now opened in 1981.

Opened on 12/12/1957 with “The million pound note”.

First drive-in on the Gold Coast. Entrance was on the west side of West Burleigh Road, between tabilban Street and Bunyip Street. Site is now (Stocklands) Burleigh Heads Shopping Centre.
