Downs Drive-In

Located in the Harristown district in the south of Toowoomba. Operated by the Greater Union Cinemas chain, the Downs Drive-In opened in December 1967 and closed in 1991. The drive-in has been demolished. A retirement village now occupies the site.

Address is Drayton Road. Opened in December 1957 and closed in 2001.

The site now Drayton Villas Retirement Village.

It closed waaay before 2001, the retirement village is present in a 1994 aerial photo so it may have closed a decade earlier, 1991 makes more sense.
