The land was originally Lambton Colliery in 1863. A sanitary depot from 1913 to 1938. Closed on 26th June 1985 with “Porky’s Revenge”, and “Night patrol” The snack bar and projection building was destroyed by a fire in 1993.

This drive-in theatre was built above an old coal mine.

Demolished in the mid-90’s, now a housing estate.

The drive-in has been demolished(date unknown?). The site is now houses. One of the streets is named Skyline Way, after the former drive-in.

Opened on 17/12/1956 with “Three coins in a fountain”.
