Gees Hall(named after Mr William Gee - a confectioner from Bindaberg) opened Gees Hall in 1906 in a shop already there(opening date and name of shop unknown?). The movie screenings started in 1912 with “The Iron Claw” starring Pearl White. Gees Hall was demolished in 1927, and some of the naterials used in the building of the Paragon Theatre whuch replaced Gees Hall.
