The Family Drive-In was opened on July 3, 1948 with Randolph Scott in “Trail Street” The address given was 2810 S. Kenrucky Avenue. At that time it was operated by Ted Graulich. Entrance was next to what is now House of Como. Highway 164 and the S. Kentucky Avenue off ramp now occupies where the theater once stood. This one closed over 50 years ago.

This was a great drive in.on a cold December night in 1977,they showed The Sting,Slap Shot and Two Minute Warning.Can’t beat that.Went there many times,great drive in.
