Solved! The Ridge Drive-In opened its gates on May 17, 1953 with Jean Peters in “Anne Of The Indies” and Walter Brennan in “Along The Great Divine” with no extra short subjects. It was first operated by M.L. Dickson. The Ridge Drive-In closed at the end of the 1978 season.
kennerado is correct about the address which is 1000 W Washington St, Mt Pleasant, IA.
This places it right in the center of the drive-in. The previous address is the building just to the west.

Closed in the late 1970s, and demolished in the early 1980s.
The Ridge Drive-In Began Construction In October 1952 After Being Erected Several Months Prior. Originally Planned For A Capacity Of 400 Cars, The Tower Is Prefabricated And Is Brought In By Truck And Erected In Large Sections, And Arclights Of The Original Projector Were Burned With Such Intensity And Throw Out So Much Heat That They Must Be Watercooled.
Its Grand Opening Date Remains A Mystery As Of Now, But According To Papers, It Opened During The Second Quarter Of 1953.
Approximate address is 1000 W Washington St. Lampline Lighting now occupies the site, it still retains the shape of the drive-in.
