Kursaal

This was the second cinema in Perwez located in the main street, Rue de la Station near the former station open prior to 1939. This was the oldest cinema in town, it specialized in westerns, action and Tarzan type films and had two films on each programme. It should be compared to the Royal Nord Cinema in Brussels although the “The Longest Day” was screened in 1964. The Kursaal was closed in summer 1965 and it became retail use.
