Ongerup Hall opened in the early-1930’s, and used as a school(Ongerup School) until 1950. Unknown if movies were screened there? The site is now the Ongerup/Needilup District Co-op(46 Eldridge Street).
The new Ongerup Public Hall opened in(1953?). Movies were screened in the late-1970’s and early-1980’s. The Ongerup Public Hall is still there, but no longer screens movies. The Ongerup Public Hall is now used for community events(and hire?), and is also the Ongerup Public Library.
