The Fox Drive-In was opened October 9, 1952 with Louis Calhern in “Two Weeks from Love” & Dick Powell in “Right Cross”, when it was operated by Billy Fox Johnson. It was closed in 1957 and immediately demolished. Now Chevron and a pawn shop.

The October 18, 1952, issue of Motion Picture Herald had this news from Louisiana:

“Billy Fox Johnson’s Joy in Marksville burnt to the ground, October 9, the same night he and his family were at the opening of their new drive-in, the Fox, in Bunkie, La.”

Opened with Louis Calhern in “Two Weeks From Love” and Dick Powell in “Right Cross” along with a fireworks show. Otherwise, unknown if any extras added. It was closed in 1957, and demolished right afterward.
