The Gonzales Drive-In was opened prior to 1955 when it was operated by J.P. Guitreaux and Russell Callen. Now a shopping center. Entrance is now AutoZone.

This may have gone by the name Holiday Drive-In during its final years from 1960-65.

On NETR Online, the 1961 aerial photos show the drive-in intact.

However, the 1962 aerial photos show the drive-in was completely demolished by that point.

Boxoffice, Feb. 22, 1960: “Percy Guitreau, Gonzales Drive-In, Gonzales, … and Irving Zeller reassumed operation of the drive-in after having leased it for a couple of years to Frank Pasqua, who owns and operates the town’s indoor theatre.”
