In this small town near Brussels and Ruisbroek were 3 cinemas, the Cinema Minerva opened in 1952. It had finally 3 screens since 1970’s or 1980’s, showed finally first run movies and closed in April 2001.
The other cinemas in the town were the Mistral Cinema closed in 1960 and the Negenmmaneke Cinema closed in 1963. The former Cinerma Minerva became a retail shop.
