Alamo Drafthouse Chandler opened December 2, 2016, as their 27th Location covering nine states.
Alamo Drafthouse notes, “Our auditoriums are equipped with the highest quality Sony 4k digital projection and with RealD 3D presentations. State-of-the-art bi-amplified QSC digital audio systems provide full range multi-channel fidelity for faithful reproduction of audio soundtracks.”
As with all Alamo Drafthouses it serves a full menu with cocktails, wine, and beer at your recliner and has a strict no texting policy.
RSP Architects designed the Alamo Drafthouse with 9 screens and 950 seats.
It was closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was taken over by the local Majestic Phoenix Theatres chain and reopened in early 2023.

Over Covid, the three Alamo Drafthouses in the Phoenix area left the chain and formed their own chain, Majestic Theaters. The theater is now Majestic Chandler 9.
