Located in the unincorporated community of Crabbottom (since 1950 known as Blue Grass). The Blue Grass Theatre was opened by March 1922. It was still open in 1931 but was listed as (Closed) in 1933. It reopened and continued as an events and stage shows theatre. By May 1938 it was operating as the Crabbottom Theatre showing movies. It soon closed as a movie theatre and began use as a community events place.

I found ads in the Highland Recorder Newspaper from 1922 to 1931. There were ads up to 1937 for the Blue Grass as a venue for stage shows and community events.
