The Idylhour Theatre was one of the earliest motion picture venues in the city opening around 1908. It shared its location with Citizens Telephone Company. It was still open in 1915, but closed later in the 1910’s for inadequate exits and may not have reopened. Citizens Telephone Company would eventually take over the entire building.
