Originally opened by Cine Utopolis, it was taken over by Kinepolis. The lease expired in September 2025 and the operator and owner of the building failed to reach an agreement for a new lease and the cinema closed on 1st September 2025.

Closed on september 1st 2025, because the lease ended and a new one could not be negociated du to the exhorbitant price demanded by the building owner.
