The New Picture House cinema is a community venture occupying the upper floors above the Heron Foods supermarket. It has seats for over 60 people and is also home to artists’ studios. It currently screens about three top films a month and has been going since October 2012 when it occupied Yorkshire House, but has since relocated to Church Street.
