The Biografen Fagel Bla was opened on 23rd August 1926. It had 353 seats. In 1966 it was taken over by the Ri-Teatrarna chain and re-named Ri-Fagel Bla and they operated it until 1st October 1972.
It was re-named Porno Fagel Bla and went over to screening pornographic sex films. This closed in 1980.
On 5th December 1980 it re-opened as a live theatre and in 184 was renamed Teatre Fagel Bla. It was taken over by the Svenska Filminstitutet playing repertory films and with a rediced seating capacity of 187.
In 2017 it is a curltural centre.
