Built on the site of the Mundial Palace cinema of 1911. The Cine Atlantic was built and opened in 1941. Designed in an Art Deco style by architect Alberto Edmundo Bourdon.
After closeing it was used for storage. It had been demolished by 2016 when an apartment block was being built on the site.
