Located on on top of the cliff at the northeast corner of 25th Street and River Road. The Port Theatre was built for the army for the entertainment of soldiers stationed at Hampton Roads Port of Embarkation(HRPE). Opened in 1942 it screened first-run movies. It was closed in 1945.
