Opened in 1886 as the Teatro B, it was re-named Majestic Theatre in 1914. Later the Moulin Rouse and in 1920 the Cine Olimpo y Parisiana. In 1924 it was re-named Paramount Theatre. The interior and exterior was re-modeled in 1961. It was closed as a cinema in November 1992.
By 2010 it was in use as a live performance venue featuring stand-up comedians. By 2017 it was in retail use.
