Located in the border town Ciudad Juarez in the state of Chihuahua, south of El Paso, Texas. Auto Cine Juarez(Mexico’s first drive-in theater) opened in September 1949 with June Allyson in “Till the Clouds Roll By”. It was sited in the east of the city near Ninos Heros Park. Unknown if still open or even still there?

The Sept. 24, 1949 issue of BoxOffice reported, “The Auto-Cine, said to be the first drive-in theatre in Mexico, was opened by Mayo Bros. near the Ninos Heroes park in East Juarez.”
