Originally opened May 22, 1985 as Movies 4 of Delray by Sanford A. Gray and Martin Wurtzburg who owned some other local theaters in the Palm Beach market. This theater was originally a 4-plex seating about 400 per theater and then became a 5-plex in the ensuing years. Always hugely popular with the nearby retirement communities, it has moved from first run to independent fare in recent years.
