Located in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The Electric Theatre was built on the site of the old swimming baths on Lower Wote Street and opened in 1913. It was built by Walter Dulay. In 1915 it was operated by a Mr. Sheffield and in 1921 was taken over by a Mr. Pease. It was last operated by E. George Casey’s Basingstoke Cinemas Ltd.
They demolished the Electric Theatre in 1939 and built the Art Deco style Savoy cinema on the site.
