Civic Cinema

Located in Alresford, Hampshire. An already existing currugated iron building was converted into the Civic Cinema by having a brick entension built at the front which contained the projection box and toilets. The Civic Cinema was opened in 1937. It was operated by Summit Cinemas of Harrow and was equipped with a Kalee sound system.

The Civic Cinema was still open in 1966, but had closed by the late-1960’s.
