The Labor Lyceum Theatre was opened prior to 1929 when it was listed with 700 seats.
By 1932 it was listed as the Lyceum Theatre with 225 seats. By 1950 it was operated by Kallet Theaters Inc. chain and had 420 seats. It was still open in 1955, but had closed by 1957.

Marvin R. Mednick is the author of the novel “The Lyceum” about the movie theater located in Woodridge, NY. It operated within the Kallet Theater Chain. He & his father were the projectionist there from 1945-1964. They also worked occassionally at the Rivoli.
